We in the good old USA are free, free to do what we like, right? Of course right.
Well, maybe.
Here are Thirteen laws, that are still on the book, that limit what we can do...
1. In Alaska (home of the fish assholes...), it is illegal to look at a Moose from an airplane....
2. California law prohibits a woman from driving a car while dressed in a housecoat.
3. In Utah, birds have the right of way on a public highway.
4. In Tennessee, it is illegal to sell bologna on Sunday
5. In Massachusetts, it is against the law to put tomatoes in clam chowder
6. There is an ordinance in San Francisco that bans the picking up and throwing of used confetti.
7. In Phoenix, Arizona, it is against the law to walk through a hotel lobby with spurs on.
8. It is still a hanging offense in Texas to steal cattle.
9. Kentuckians, by law, must bathe once a year.
10. It is illegal to mispronounce Arkansas, (in Arkansas)
11. In Denver, Colorado, it is illegal to mistreat rats
12. In Iowa, no kiss may last more than five minutes. (boo, Iowa!)
13. In Wichita, Kansas, a father cannot frighten his daughters boyfriend with a gun....

My 13 is posted. Either use the link provided at the top of my Thursday blog or scroll down to the bottom of the entry. It's English for Dummies!.....fun. Have a great day.
I'll have to keep these laws in mind when I'm traveling. Thanks for sharing.
Makes me wonder why they felt the need to create some of these laws.
There must be a story behind them.
I love those whacked out laws! I think I liked the Kentucky one the most. Any state that pushes good hygiene must rock! Haha
Pretty sad when you have to have a law about bathing once a year...
Cute list.
That's awesome. thanks for the smiles today...I needed them. Happy T13.
So by flying over/shooting those moose from/in a helicopter saved Palin from a criminal offense?
Great list, those laws are cracking me up. Happy TT!
Interesting laws. That's amazing they were even created in the first place.
Thanks for sharing.
Fun list. Of course, if they were actually being enforced, the jails would be full (smile).
You gotta wonder how half these laws made it onto the books in the first place.
that was a really good one.
