This week, I thought it would be really fun to explore some interesting facts about the number 13, itself. For more Thursday 13 participants, go Here
  1.  In Scotland, the number 13 is known as the Devil’s dozen.

  2. The state lotteries of France and Italy in particular, never sell tickets with that number printed on it.

3.The fear of number 13 is called triskaidekaphobia and it was derived from treiskaideka, the Greek word for thirteen and phobia.

   4. In Formula 1, there is no car with the number 13.

   5. Most airplanes have no seat No. 13

   6. Thirteen for dinner? Not in France. A party of
thirteen can hire a professional quatorzieme, a
fourteenth person, from an agency.

   8. The moon moves approximately 13 degrees each day.

When buildings skip the #13 in their floor numbering, it makes me think twice about visiting floor #14, which is silly because I visit floor #13 without thinking twice.
